The following guidelines are intended for law enforcement personnel seeking to request information about Krrb users. For all matters concerning copyright and intellectual property, please refer to our copyright notice. For all other policies and guidelines, please refer to our knowledge base.
Krrb is a venue
Krrb is a venue which connects people who want to buy, sell, trade or give to their neighbors — locally and in-person. Krrb is not involved in the transactions between users and does not monitor private communications between users. To learn more, please see how krrb works.
Availability of user information
Some user information is public and anyone on the Internet can see it. Certain information is private such as email addresses, passwords and messages between users. When a user enters an address, it is private by default, however the users has the option to make their address public. Additionally, a user can optionally publicly hide closed listings, making them private.

Requesting user information
Our top concern is the privacy and safety of our users. Krrb will not disclose user information unless we are required to do so by applicable law, subpoena, court order or legal process, or if the disclosure will directly lead to the safety of our users.
Krrb is located in New York City and will respond in compliance with New York and U.S. law to a subpoena, court order, or other valid legal process to disclose information about our users.
Krrb accepts legal process from law enforcement agencies delivered by physical mail or personal delivery. Krrb requests that law enforcement agencies also send a copy of the legal process by email. Acceptance of legal process by these means is for convenience only and does not waive any objections, including the lack of jurisdiction or proper service.
Your request should include the URL of the Krrb user corner, listing or message in question and details about what specific information is requested. If the URL is no longer available, please provide specific search criteria such as user name, corner name, date range, tags, screenshots, etc. Please indicate preferred method of delivery for response: email or physical mail.

Notifying users of disclosure
Our general policy is to notify users of requests for their information prior to disclosure unless we are prohibited from doing so by statute or court order.
