Pair of vintage bookends made of composite material to simulate wood.
They have a great 3-D quality and they depict the American Clipper Ship Challenge, which was in service from 1851 to 1876 and was renowned for it’s record breaking 33 day trip from Hong Kong San Francisco. These ships were called clippers because they moved at such a fast “clip”.
These are in very good vintage condition with only a couple of nicks to the corners
