This 1950’s matched dresser and nightstand set of blond oak has slightly angled drawer faces creating a concealed finger groove at the bottom to pull each drawer open. This was the height of modernism at the time, thus eliminating the need for traditional drawer pulls and keeping the cabinet lines pure and simple. Set off with a handsome beveled bullnose frame, this well-made bedroom set speaks mid-century modern at its best, and remains in its orginal blond oak finish and condition with a lovely patina acquired through the years.
