Great 60s/70s photo shoot prop, but fully functional and waiting to be used on your mid-century style lawn or back yard. It folds up easily for storage or transport and is very lightweight.
Telescope Casual is the current name of the company (Granville, NY) and made all of those iconic folding chairs with webbing and rubber strands throughout the 50s, 60s, and 70s. They still produce similar styles for the high mid-range market (folding loungers sell for 140-300.00 believe it or not). They have a great publicity still on their website of folding loungers for fishing.

This chair is in mint vintage condition. It looks to have never been outdoors, and probably wasn’t. It came from an estate in Long Island with a pool house full of furniture that had been stored away unused for decades. I have cleaned and detailed the chair to make it practically showroom new. There is little wear on the chair arms and all of the rubber strands are strong and like new. I have priced mine below what I have seen on ebay, Etsy, and vintage outdoor sites.
