Somewhat bizarre and charming light fixture paired with an amazing half-round lampshade made from a photo positive of a barnyard with a longhorn drinking from a pond!
Beautiful color on the shade when lit up: puffy clouds, scruffy brown field and blue pond with lots of cattle in the background. Lamp fixture can sit on a table top or hang on the wall as a sconce from the nail hole on the back.
Shade shows some light scratches commensurate with age, and it looks like someone wrote a scribbly letter “B” with a pencil. I have not tried to clean. A bit of the whipstitching is loose, as shown in photo.
Lamp overall measures 9.5" tall, 7.5" wide.
Half-round shade alone is 10.25" in circumference and 5" tall.
Am making an educated guess that this dates to the 1950s.
