Just moved to NYC and have to part with one of my favorite pieces. It’s a gorgeous wooden bench that just doesn’t fit in my (smaller!) apartment anymore. I bought it at an antique store in Virginia, it is white-washed wood, and it has incredible storage space inside. It looks great almost anywhere – you can put it in an entry way, use it as a sitting bench (I used to have cushions on it), etc.
I don’t know exact dimensions (although I can get them), but it’s about 3 ft tall, 1.5-2 ft. deep, and 5 ft. long. About moving: you would have to pick it up yourself, but I live in an elevator building, so it is easy to get out of the apt/downstairs!
