This rare Danish modern dining set is from the early to mid-1950’s, and is made from the older, more fiery teak prized from that era. Combine that with the gorgeous floating design of the chairs and ingenious buried butterfly leaf of the table, and you can see why it warranted the complete restoration we gave it. The set is 100% structurally sound. The restored finish has been hand-rubbed; the chairs have been reupholstered in high-quality leather with all new stuffing and materials. Having a few more people over? The table is thoughtful enough to store the leaf for you, and the mechanicals all work effortlessly. Comparable sets at high-end boutiques would be $4000+, and that for an unrestored version. A lovely mid-century set.
