Here’s a sweet vintage 2 stroke enduro from 1973 that’s ready to tear up the streets of Brooklyn. Could use a little cosmetic work but it runs and rides great. Handlebars are bent. I’ve been riding it around with no problem but I’d replace them if I was keeping the bike. Seat cover is torn up. These are about $60 online/ebay. Needs a set of blinkers on the back. Otherwise, it’s ready to go. There’s a speedo on it but that’s not the original so I don’t know how many miles it has but it doesn’t smoke or leak. Has working oil injection so you just fill the oil tank and then gas up with no mixing at the pump. Fork seals are good… no leaking or mushiness. Brakes are good. Front fender is cracked but works fine.
If you’re a beginner or a female or person of a smaller stature, this would be a great bike for you. These bikes are very light weight and super easy to menouver. But, since they’re 2 strokes, they’re very zippy and fun to ride. They also sound badass ;-)
It was last ridden in the woods and I didn’t have my hose hooked up when I photographed it so I couldn’t even wash the mud off, but this bike will look really nice when it gets cleaned up. You could also turn this into a very unique 2 stroke cafe racer… hmmm ;-)
