This is not a real Noguchi coffee table.
Walnut-colored base with thick glass top. Note that the base is NOT made of walnut type wood.
This table is a reproduction of a classic design and is stylish as well as functional. The base adjusts to different positions (so if you’ve never seen the original, you should know that the base and glass are not connected and the base is an interlocking 2 piece system). It will fit into a sedan.
One piece of the wooden leg came out of the box broken and I repaired it with really great carpenter’s glue. Don’t worry. It’s very stable now. I will point it out to you when you come to see the table.
The glass is Extremely heavy and you will need another person to help you carry it out. I’m on the ground floor of an apartment building and very close to the front door.
