I came across this unique vintage candle holder at a local furniture market. It was created by an old-world craftsman who stripped the bark off an old fallen tree and shaped it so that it formed a perfect circle around a glass candle holder. A very interesting piece, particularly in the evening when the candle is lit and little pockets of light seep through the tiny cracks in the bark, casting a kaleidoscope of dim light – see pictures. Comes with a brand new candle (was only lit for the pictures)
