Huge Wood-Mounted “A Chorus Line” Original Promo Poster/Sign
A truly one-of-a-kind piece of Broadway memorabilia!
Oversized original Broadway show poster mounted on .5" thick wood with lucite in front. Measures 79″ × 41″ — That’s over 6 and a half feet tall!
The print itself is in great shape, stored under the lucite since 1979. No fading, major marks, etc. There is some bubbling/inconsistencies in the surface and a trim/fold line from original pasting, The board appears to have been mounted to another surface with nails prior to mounting the poster. Nails still protruded from the back & heads surfaced through print over time – they have since been carefully removed. Some wear around screw holes drilled for the lucite & near bottom likely from initial handling or exposure to weather. Bottom shows a copyright of 1979 by The New York Shakespeare Festival. Though original intended use is unknown.
Displayed for a number of years at the Mark Two theater in the Orlando area which closed some time ago.

The original lucite was removed for cleaning & photographs and has been remounted. Lucite has some marks and scratches from original use and 30 years of storage and display. The wear mostly consists of very slight surface marks & scratches though there are few deeper scratches. Still, nothing which detracts from the overall display.
