Isn’t this a beaut! Rare find, these kinds of bookcases are no longer in production!
This mid century metal barrister/legal stacking bookcase is in excellent condition!
The bookcase is 33" wide, 13" deep, there are four sections – each section is 15" high, with the top and base, the height is 72" floor to top.
Each section has a glass retractable up-swinging door and all are in great functioning order. Each knob is original and tight and secure. Each section has 2 clips to help hold it all together, there is only one missing out of the 8 and gravity does a fine job on its own anyway. All pieces are stamped by the Hillside Metal Products Company in Newark NJ, made in the USA! This piece has lived its whole life in just a 30 mile radius of where it was made!
The photo of the upper section & top shows a tiny dab of paint and some scratching, which is the worst condition you will find on this piece. It is in such great shape. Durable, sturdy, and heavy.
