Premise: A free camera travels from apartment to apartment capturing life moments from the block’s residents.
The idea behind On My Block is completely genius, but to be perfectly honest, it’s also a tad overwhelming—Write, direct, and produce a short film using only the people on your one block. How does one even go about doing that when they have no experience in film making? In short, you gather up as many volunteers as you can, start throwing out ideas, and let the rest of the process fall into place. Is it a lot of work? oh yes. Is it a worthwhile project? Absolutely.
