This can-o-mat is an absolutely beautiful and functional device, the chrome is gorgeous, and the streamlining will come in very useful once the kitchen gets over 50 miles per hour.
This vintage Can O Mat Wall Mount was made by Rival Mfg company in Kansas City, Missouri. It has patent numbers inside the handle. It is complete with hinge piece that mounts to the wall or counter. It is 7 3/4 " long & 3 " wide. Made in the 1950’s. This mid-century kitchen tool is such a gem. They simply do not make them like this anymore. Very heavy, tough and durable.
The chrome is in good condition, there is a bit of small even pitting. This industrial piece would make a great accent piece to a kitchen restoration project.
