This 16" diameter platter can fill multiple roles in the kitchen or home. I’m thinking a nice pile of couscous and lamb. It’s glazed with clear glaze over black splattered underglaze.
I crafted it in Brooklyn, NY and fired in a two-chambered Japanese style kiln in Peekskill, NY.
The first chamber is called the ”Anagama” and the second the ”Noborigama.” The kiln burns 3.5 cords of wood over 4 days and takes 12 days to cool. The resulting pots are mind numbingly delicious.
- Microwave, dishwasher and even oven safe.
