This is the 14K gold plated version of my “Whirls” Collection No.2 ring.The “Whirls” collection is a crossover between my 2 online jewelry stores, Harlequin&Lionhead and Bunnies Can Dream. It features clusters of organic shapes that inspires imagination. Someone may see it as feathers, flowers, leaves or even coral. It is edgy but still with a subtle sensibility.I created these pieces in clay models first, then I develop a wax model out of it, cast them into metal, hand polish to finish. This is the second design in the collection. It is slightly smaller in scale than the No. 1 ring, with my signature double criss-cross twisted band. Despite that the bands are not thick, the double-band design gives support to the ring, so unlike other large statement ring, this ring will not twist and turn around your finger. And the 2 bands are not soldered together so it has a fluid architectural look. It is very hard to create. It is sleek and modern, but elegant and totally unique.
