Hello there! I’m planning on parting with my first pair of five fingers. They began my foray into barefoot running and have converted me to a forefoot striker. Five fingers actually fit like a sock, so there’s no budging into these, they’re made for someone who wears a solid 11.5. Basically good as new.
When running in traditional shoes I was a heel striker and tended to overpronate or twist my ankle as I landed (ouch!). That led to a ton of injuries. Since running in minimal shoes I’ve naturally trained myself to forefoot strike and have been injury free, loving every run.
These aren’t just for runners, they’re great for hiking, walking, climbing, any outdoor activity where you’d like to feel closer to the ground.
Their entry price is quite steep but buying them this way gives you an easier price point into something new. If you’d like more information or tips feel free to message me.
If you don’t know much about barefoot running I suggest you check out this article and video by one of the grandfathers of the movement. http://www.nytimes.com/2011/11/06/magazine/running-christopher-mcdougall.html?pagewanted=all
Have a great day!
