Pristine condition! Rieber Bavarian teapot! With maker’s mark!
Teapot is vintage, produced sometime around 1953 based on the maker’s seal located on bottom of teapot. Teapot features beautiful, Scandanavian-esque floral decor on both the front and back. Further illustrating it was produced around 1953 when the Josef Rieber porcelain factory was mostly making serving items for Norway and Sweden.
Teapot measures about 9.5" inches tall from base to tip of lid, and belly of teapot is 4" inches wide, about 8 inches wide from tip of spout to broadest arc of the handle. Both handle and spout are long and sleek, lending this vintage item a contemporary feel even today. Lid is in great condition, as is teapot, neither showing any chips or damage of any kind and no stains on the inside. It appears the teapot was hardly ever used. A very nice addition to your kitchen today for tea, coffee or decor!
