Bike MS: Traffic Free Ride is a 13 mile ride that starts and ends at Bethpage State Park and rides through the Massapequa Preserve. Check-in and begin riding at 8:00 a.m.

This traffic-free ride is a great chance to do something for MS now. Register today as an individual, join a team, or create a team – and help to support the fight against MS. Children must be at least 12 to ride. Participants between 12-17 years of age need to have a parent/guardian sign waiver and accompany them on ride.

On Sunday, June 3, 2012 the High Meadow School, located in Stone Ridge, New York, will hold its 6th Annual Ride The Ridge Bike Challenge to raise funds to benefit the new High Meadow Performing Arts Center. Bicycling Magazine has identified Ride the Ridge to its nationwide readership as one of the best cycling events in the month of June! The Ride the Ridge Bike Challenge invites riders of all ages to participate in one of four road rides: 50-mile Shawangunk Ridge Ride, 30-mile Countryside Ride, 11-mile Bud Clarke Memorial Ride, 5-mile Family Ride.

Bike to the Beach NY is a fast growing century ride benefiting Autism, taking you on a diverse route from Union Square, Manhattan out to Westhampton Beach, Long Island. The highlights of the ride include riding through the empty streets of Manhattan and Brooklyn in the predawn hours, arriving at the shoreline in the Rockaways in time to see the sunrise, and nothing beats that crisp dip in the ocean following a 100 mile ride! Lined with well staffed rest stops, and competent support, this ride is great for all levels of riders, and we are hoping for over 150 riders in our 3rd year.

Bike to the Beach is a vibrant, fun, energetic community whose passion for cycling is coupled with fundraising and awareness for the developmental disease, Autism. Please help us by joining our 2012 campaign and registering for our 2012 Bike to the Beach Century Ride!

Cycle for Life is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s new initiative that is expected to raise over $125,000 in the Greater New York area!

Participants will have a choice between a half metric ride (32 miles) or a metric century option (62 miles). You will experience NYC like never before; the routes are carefully designed to allow you to view Brooklyn and other parts of NYC in a way that you could never dream of on foot or inside a vehicle. The ride will feature rare views of the Statue of Liberty, NYC Skyline, Verrazano Bridge, Rockaway Beach and much more. This amazing journey will end in the historic Brooklyn Brewery, where you’ll be treated to valet bike parking, lunch and of course some freshly brewed Brooklyn Lager.

The Tour of the Hamptons begins in Southampton and travels through mostly flat terrain and rolling hills on the south fork of Long Island,
passing farmlands, beaches, mansions and historic towns such as East Hampton, Amagansett and Montauk before returning to Southampton.

The tour has routes of 25, 50, 70, 100 miles and two 25 mile Guided Rides. Proceeds from the tour fund a generous contribution to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Suffolk County, to Maureen’s Haven and to the Scholarship Funds of Easthampton High School, Southampton High School, and Massapequa High School. The Bike New York Twin Lights Ride in September is one of two Bike New York regional rides. Biking in NYC is great, but sometimes we crave getting away and pedaling through beautiful areas just outside our urban oasis. Just a short ferry ride from the city, this tour through the back roads of Monmouth County, NJ, offers stunning views, including acres and acres of horse farms, gorgeous woodlands on all routes, plus ocean views on longer routes. With mileage choices for every level—from 30 to 100 miles—and a relatively gentle terrain, the Twin Lights Ride also makes a fantastic family ride or a smart choice for a first century. This is one of the fall’s best rides.
