Indian Gudri Kantha Quilt

The ultimate “green” creation, old sari’s are sewn together in layers using the ancient kantha stich. The resulting color combinations are unique, unpredictable and fun. They will brighten a bed when used to dress the lower half, or produce an instant picnic when thrown on the lawn. These “gudris” were created by tribal women of the Thar desert in Rajasthan. Please be aware there may be imperfections in the quilt which are natural in recycled items. Easily cared for- can be machine washed and dried.
