What: Vegan Book Swap for Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary 3.0

Calling all veggies and friends of animals with dusty, crowded book shelves! Please join us for an after work swap of inspiring vegan cookbooks, theory books, how-to dvds, and all other media related to vegetarianism and animal rights. This event is open to all whether you are a hardcore vegan with a dozen books (and tattoos) or a veg-curious passerby.
There will be a raffle in support of Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary. (Contact us if you have a good or service you’d like to donate to the raffle.) There will also be the opportunity to purchase used books for a $2 donation to the sanctuary.
The December Swap raised $480 for the sanctuary, four times what was raised at the inaugural swap in August. (The $120 collected at the swap grew to $480 with the help of two matching sponsors.) Do we dare dream of beating that number? The rescued animals have their hooves crossed!
