Like her twin sister, Arce was a messenger to the gods. She is often affiliated with the sometimes second, faded rainbow. She has iridescent wings compared to her sister’s golden wings. Arce lost her divinity by the hands of Zeus when she acted as the messenger to the Titans in their war against the Olympian Gods. Zeus gave her wings to Thetis, who later gave them to her son Achilles.
