Personally identifiable information

During the registration process we collect some personally identifiable information about you, such as your name and email address. When you create a listing on Krrb, we collect some additional information such as your address. We are serious about protecting this information

  • Krrb will not share any of your personally identifiable information with any third parties for marketing purposes, unless you yourself choose to include this information in listings you publish.
  • Krrb automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, cookies, and the pages you request. This data is only used in the aggregate.
  • Krrb does not knowingly collect any information from persons under 18 years of age.

Cookies

Like many sites, Krrb uses a technology called “cookies”. A cookie is a small text file stored on your computers hard drive assigning it a user code. This allows our website to remember our users (so they don't have to sign in again) and to let us know how they use our website. Krrb does not use cookies to retrieve any information from your computer other than what we provide.

Data we collect

In addition to Personally Identifiable Information, we collect the following data:

  • Listing Content – when you place a listing on Krrb. We collect information related to that listing, such as price, etc. This information is made public and Krrb cannot control how that information is used. Please use caution about having your listing contain Personally Indentifiable information.
  • “Anonymous Information” such as your IP address, what web browser you use to visit Krrb, and what pages of our site you visit and search terms you use. This information is used to improve your user experience and to improve the quality and performance of Krrb.
  • Credit Card information, including credit card numbers, are collected but not stored. Trusted third party vendors handles credit card transactions for Krrb. Our Vendors use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and are PCI compliant.

Data we store

The following information is stored in our database:

  • Registration Information.
  • All listings, reviews and messages sent in regard to listings.
  • Activity logs and other records.

How we use this data

We may use the information that is disclosed to us to:

  • Provide our services to you, including customer service.
  • Enforce our terms of use and prevent illegal or prohibited activites.
  • Make improvements to our website and services.

Security – keeping your data safe

  • Your account information is password protected.Please help up protect your privacy by keeping this password confidential.
  • We keep your account information on a secured server behind a firewall.
  • When you enter sensitive information, such as a credit card number, Krrb encrypts that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL). Krrb follows generally accepted industry standards to protect this information both during transmission and once Krrb receives it. No method of transmission over the internet is ever 100% secure, therefore, while Krrb strives to use commercially acceptable means to protect this information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.     Krrb may disclose information about its users when required to do so by law or when it is necessary toprotect the rights, property, or personal safety of Krrb, its users, or the general public, or when it is reasonably necessary to enforce our Terms of Use.
